Museum opening hours

Due to the current situation our hours are variable. Please see the home page for details.

Admission charges

Until December 31st the museum will continue on a basis of please donate what you think we are worth.

From January 1st 2025 we will be charging admission. Charges are:

Adult £10

Child over 5 £5

Child under 5 free

Family ticket £20 which allows entry for up to two adults and three children.

Please pay in the shop and we will supply a wristband.

If you are able to gift aid your entry it will be converted to an annual ticket, valid for twelve months from date of entry.

If you are unable to gift aid then admission entitles you to membership if you complete the form. Please hand this in at the shop in exchange for an annual ticket.

General

A visit to the museum will take anything between a couple of hours or a few days depending on your interest in aviation. We have around 65 aircraft on display, some outside, some in. We also have many artefacts and photographs on display as well as some aviation archeology exhibits. There are exhibits that you can try out for yourselves as well.

The shop contains a wide variety of items, with a wide range of prices. The NAAFI has a range of snacks and hot and cold drinks available.
